Why is social media marketing important for businesses of all sizes?

SMM is the simplest method of reaching a massive audience — more than half of the world’s population, 4.1 billion people, currently use social media. Additionally, this figure is constantly increasing — social media usage has increased by 10.2 percent since 2021.

Daily and frequent posting

The primary guideline for effective social media marketing is to publish on a daily timetable, since your fans would become accustomed to seeing your posts on a regular basis. They’ll be livid if you fail to deliver on schedule. The frequency at which brands publish new content also counts — brands that publish new content once or twice daily engage twice as many consumers as brands that update many days a week.

To retain such a high frequency, consider repurposing original material — repurpose existing blog articles, landing pages, and deals on the website into a different format that is optimized for each channel. For instance, you can publish self-contained infographics from your landing page.

Develop a marketing strategy for each channel

SMM without a content strategy is a terrible idea — you’ll easily get confused, and your ads will be ineffective. How should I develop a plan for social media marketing?
